I know the terminology “Fireside Chats” is a little overused throughout history, but Jenn and I couldn’t help it. It was more spot on for us than “Real Talk”. So, the section originally called “Real Talk” is now going to be referred to as “Fireside Chats”!

We ended up with an electric fireplace that we just couldn’t get rid of and then one day, I had a random image pop in my head. I saw Jenn and I sitting in front of that same electric fireplace, sipping something out of adorable mugs, and chatting about different things to help other people. It would be a great way for us to have our “Real talk” and update about…. things. So, we took the listing off a selling platform online and put it in the room for us to use.

Well, that’s not exactly how it went. First, I didn’t know that you can even use an electric fireplace without the heat. So, someone had to tell me that before we moved it or it wouldn’t have been moved. Plus, we had someone reach out to buy it and I had JUST moved it to the room and then had to bring it out to the front door so they could pick it up. We took less than 5 minutes to respond to the person, but they were nasty people and said we “missed out on the prize” because we took too long to respond and we couldn’t deliver AND give them half off. It was a sign from the universe (to me) that we needed to use the fireplace for our chats! So, here it is:
